This reform congregation, after many expansions over the course of its 75-year history, presented many challenges to Rotwein+Blake.  The various styles of architecture and competing materials posed the biggest challenge.

Rotwein+Blake resolved the disparate styles by designing deceptively simple forms and volumes, in combination with natural complementary materials, creating a successful transition between old and new.  The integrity of the historic mansion was retained, while the new addition serves the functional needs of the congregation.
