The narrow proportions of the property and the proximity to a wetland preserve posed some challenges in locating two very large buildings. Zoning restrictions and the location of the wetlands dictated the use of structured parking.
The parking deck was leveraged to join the two new buildings; an important concept to connect two distinct business units through the sharing of amenities.
Each building houses a different business unit of Chubb, commercial lines and personal lines. This architectural solution harmoniously marries the buildings and parking structure with the natural surroundings with minimal impact to the environment.
